Thank you for all your help and time. I've been working on my mother's father's line and I just started her mother's line about about 2 weeks ago (that's this line). I don't have it very organized yet. I just got to Jane Ponton and her husbands and Josephs wifes and couldn't figure it out...was on line seeing what was there when I found your entry. I'm hoping to take a week in SL this summer and do some research. If I find anything else out...I'll let you know. Thanks also for the files, haven't had a chance to look ath them yet. I did not have the exact date for Jane and Ezra, so I checked the IGI and there were two different ones listed. one abt 1851, of Hirwaun, Glamorgan, England, and the other one 1861 of Aberdare, Glamorgan, England. The only dates I have for Jane and Joseph are 1863/1867 with no place listed. I do not have any further information for Joseph and his other wives. It will take some research to find them. Sorry I was not much help.

We have a combined family of 8 children, 4 of which are still home. That is nice that you live so close to my husbands area and buildings. Attached are some of the files I have on the mine disaster. Hope it does not overload your system.

We actually live behind the old Territorial capital building. We bought a house that was built in 1871 by Huntsmans. We've almost lived here a year, we have 4 girls ages 5-14.
That's a nice biography of Emily Crofts Leyshon, I wondered who wrote the part I emailed you, so that's nice to know too.
I have some questions, if you don't mind me asking. I understand that Jane Ponton married Ezra Crofts and after his death remarried Joseph Arnold (do you know what year they married). Then after Jane Ponton died Joseph Arnold remarried. But who was Joseph Arnold's first wife and who was the first wife's sister that he later married. If you know the answers I would appeciate a reply. I would enjoy seeing what you have on the Winter Quarters mind disaster also.

Fillmore, is a great place. My husband's family help to settle Fillmore. The names are: Owens and Robison's families. The Owens members help to build the first school house and the Territorial capital building. We have a lot of history in Fillmore.
I also have about 4 or 5 files on the Winter Quarters mine disaster of 1900 if you are interested.
